How to Practice Forest Bathing?

Shinrin Yoku, literally Forest Bathing, is the simple practice of immersing yourself in a forest, connecting with nature and walking in the woods.

It’s likely more relaxing than a spa treatment and cheaper. All it takes is to slow down, walk at a gentle pace and breath deeply and slowly.

There’s no protocol to follow religiously, no wrong way, simply be present and take the time to breathe slowly, connect with nature by observing your surroundings, listening to the birds and the wind, feeling and touching the trees, smelling the flowers.

You can read about it, browse through the research papers but you will only feel its benefits by the practice itself.
